I was initially against the idea of paying for a theme, especially given that Wordpress is released for free and that I always release my plugins for free (which have taken 100s of hours of my time to develop and support). But I guess we aren't all so alturistic! But free code debates aside, I decided that Thesis was exactly what I needed for my various sites and I haven't regretted purchasing it for a second.
